Your so lucky you can fast forward through the Aire Girls. I have to just change the channel until their done their stupid talking. I’m thinking of boycotting American Eagle until they take that crap off.

I loved this podcast, I checked out Funny Face and it was a really great movie. Keep up the great work!

I also greatly dislike the Arie Girls. Me and my mom watch the show together, so when they come on we turn down the sound…

I don’t want Rory to dye her hair, we literally had to pause the DVR so I could see if it was true…

Another good one! I also don’t care for the Arie Girls. I watch the show with my mom also just turn down the volume.

Dave-when April was talking about having a girl over and stuff like that I immediately thought that she was going to try and get Luke and Anna together. Ugh..my heart just dropped. Thank god that wasn’t the case. *I need Lorelei and Luke to be back together for my world to be right!* LoL…I’m a dork.

I only discovered GG halfway through Season 5 but have gotten all caught up through reruns and dvds. I found the podcast on Itunes before traveling over Labor Day and looking for some podcasts to listen to. I think the show is great and the podcasts are fun to listen to.
Couple comments on this week and in general.
    1. The Logan obsession is a bit much but I’m guessing it’s more an obsession with the actor. I think they’re showing a pretty realistic view of how it is to be in a long distance relationship. It’s hard and when you’re missing that day to day stuff you don’t realize what a big deal it can be to hold a relationship together. Plus it seems Rory has really defined herself through her relationship with Logan so I like seeing her on her own and having to make some new friends.
    2. The comments about the age of viewers, I’m 36 and when I started watching I was relating with Loreli’s character, not that I had a kid at 16 but her life, relationships etc…Don’t discount that people her/my age are watching too but you’re right that the average age is probably less.
    3. The myspace age comment, my friends encouraged me to be on myspace and I had no desire. I finally broke down and use it for my friends and for music/bands (which is what it was originally started for). There are some definite weirdos on there but not all of us old 30 somethings on there are like that.
Lastly, the Arie Girls are just as bad as you and everyone else makes them out to be.

Although I was initially somewhat disappointed that Luke and Lorelai broke up, I have to say that Lorelai and Chris have a lot more chemistry together. Last season Luke and Lorelai relationship fizzled out on screen way before it fizzled out in the script. I totally enjoy your podcast — I look forward to listening each week.My daughters and I (I’m one of those “over 37 years old” listenters) try to watch it together each week.

The thing I didn’t like about this episode is that Logan appeared for only a couple seconds. That’s like one episode off his contract =(

    Looking forward to tomorrow =D

Hey guys! Yall were right on the money as usual this week and it was great to listen in to the podcast as always. Question, though – How is it that no one brought up how completely obnoxious Rory’s new “friends” are? Those gallery girls just nake my skin crawl and I really hope they’re not going to be on the show much longer. I mean, they’re going to get Rory to punk-out her hair – jow lame is that? Honestly, I’d take the aire girls any day over them – at least the aire girls are just commercials!!!

It’s kind of weird how everyone acts negatively towards Rory getting some friends. We’ve only seen them for one episode, so they might change. Right now Rory really only has Paris because she’s back to school. Lorelai is with Chris, and Lane is pregnant and married to Zach, so they are together. Rory is mostly on her own. I know she has Lorelai and all, but she needs some people at Yale to be with. Alicia even said that Rory doesn’t have many friends, and she’s lonely without Logan. Rory still needs to discover new things, and they need fresh things for the show, so they might take Rory down this Artsy Path.

Just finnished watching Gilmore Girls 7.05 with my friend. We always have Tuesday nights Gilmore Girls night at my house and so she comes over at 6:30 to watch GG at 7, it’s great. Mainly because we are both usually so busy with homework we don’t have time to hang out so this provides us the oppertunity to talk about one of our favorite topics. We both didn’t mind the beggining half of the show this week, but as the show went on through the middle we found it became less great, but the ending was really good. One thing I loved was the ‘great phone call’ and of course getting to see Michelle in a few clips cause I just love his character. Can’t wait to hear what you guys think!

Ooops forgot to mention something. I watch GG on Global, and I have no clue what you guys are talking about when you mention the Airie Girls and what not, in a way I’m thankful because by the sounds of things it sounds horrible and well yeah horrible, but in a way I’d love to just know where people are seeing this lol, sorry if I sound confusing… Please forgive me.

    (P.S. I swear I’ll stop posting now. :))

It’s these “rejected models” from American Eagle talking about the show. Sooo stupid. And totally scripted.
