    Hi Alicia and Dave,

I subscribe to the podcast from iTunes, but y’all’s show discussing 7.05 never downloaded into my iTunes.

Has there been a problem or anything? Just curious.

Or will it download sometime within the next 24 hours or so?

    Thanks! Y’all are awesome!

iTunes gave us problems this episode. I’m working on determining the source of the delay. Glad you guys are getting it now.

    Thanks for the patience,

So if Alicia is from Tennessee and Dave is from Arizona, how did you guys meet?

Okay so..when you were talking about how you proposed to Alicia and she goes “He proposed to me at a Wendy’s” my mouth dropped. And then I laughed really hard when you finally explained it.

Okay..Awesome podcast. Of course I loved it. Alicia we are in the same boat with this Matt Czuchry stuff…oh man *fans self* Can’t wait until the next episode *which is tonight!*

I thought Go Bulldogs was such a boring episode. All about Christopher it seemed. And although I had been enjoying his chemistry with Loreli, after seeing Luke throughout this episode I really miss them together and their interactions. I thought his whole storyline was the most enjoyable of the show. and when is Lane telling her mom or anyone for that matter that she’s pregnant? Her and Zack seemed to have fallen off the radar. AND that was the worst Aerie girls thing I’ve ever seen yet.

I agree with jc. This episode wasn’t too exciting. The only funny part was Luke and that coach on a date. I hated how Chris wanted to invite all of Rory’s staff everywhere, because he doesn’t even know who Rory’s friends are. At least Lorelai got that Rory is their boss, not their friend.

Yes, Go Bulldogs was a very boring episode…it all centered around Christopher and I’ve warmed up to him and Lorelai but after seeing Luke I really wanted to see some LL action, like jc. I’m so glad that Luke was able to save Kirk and Lulu’s relationship! Well, hopefully things will be better next week!

Agreeing with ggfan01, that this was one of your best podcast! And I also have to say that Go Bulldogs was one of the more boring episodes, except for Lukes date with the swim instructor. That part I loved (PHSYCO!). Can’t wait for your next podcast! You guys are awesome.

I heard the comment about Bobbie, and I thought I’d let you know. I’m not sure if this is true, but I heard a rumor that the actor who played Bobbie is the girl from the Orbit gum commericials. I haven’t heard anything else about it, though.

The orbit gum commercials? How cool. Hehe.

What I noticed when Christoper was at parents’ day was when all the other dad’s were talking about memories they had in common when their children were growing up and Christopher had nothing to chime in with. Because he didn’t raise Rory and I think in that moment he felt bad. Which he should have because he wasn’t there for Rory, Luke was.

Okay maybe that’s just me wanting L and L to be back together. 😐

Vintage212 I’m with you, I wish L and L were back together, I just wish it ends up that way. And I completely agree that Chris should feel bad, he wasn’t there, not at all. And yet Luke was always there, he waited for so long I hate that it seems like all his waiting was for nothing!!

I love Luke and April though, their time together is so adorable. I feel like he’s really happy that he’s a father and can’t really believe it. He loves April so much I find it just so cute.

I agree with you Jess. I LOVE the April and Luke moments, even though when the whole April storyline started, I hated it so much. But especially this past episode, they are so cute together. And I’m with you on the whole L and L thing also, all that time that he’s spent waiting for Lorelei, I’d hate to see her end up with Christopher, the guy who didn’t want her to begin with and who just up and left her when she was pregnant with his child.

Oh man, don’t get me started. 🙂

Um, well, actually, it was Lorelai that left Chris and didn’t want to marry him (and rightly so, i’m just stating facts here), and how are you gonna judge him anyway? He was 16! He always wanted Lorelai, and she always wanted him, and it was never the right time, until now. I always wanted them together, personally. And Luke did not raise Rory. Lorelai raised Rory all by herself. Luke just happened to be nearby and got to watch her grow up. Chris DOES feel terrible about missing her childhood, that was pretty much the point of that whole scene.
I hate to sound like a Dr. Laura-type family values conservative, because that’s not me at all, but I think it’d be really cute if Luke ended up with Anna and Lorelai ended up with Chris. Just my two cents.

Vintage212 lol yeah your post got me all started up and I could write an essay about how wrong Chris is. I would think differently if he was with Lorelai and Rory from the start and never left, but even if that was all I might be okay with it. But he didn’t only walk out on them once but twice, at least that’s all I can remember. Cause I think way back in the day Lorelai and Christopher were supposed to get back together, at the wedding the inn was putting on, and then Sherry was pregnant so he left again after hopes had been filled. And I completely agree, when April first came into play I hated the story line. I didn’t even like April, I couldn’t understand how people could call her cute, or anything, I was just so upset about how it was going to ruin everything that is right between L and L. But now when ever I see her I just love her lol, she kind of reminds me of what Rory would be at that age.

Okay first of all, in another episode, I believe it was the episode when the grandparents got remarried and they caught Rory and Logan making out in the other room that someone mentioned that Luke was there when Rory had the chicken pox and when she started school and when she went made all those first major steps in life. Christopher barely made time to come visit, and I know that he was only 16 and that is alot to handle when you are 16, but Lorelei did it so the least that Christopher could have done was send a card every once in a while, but he didn’t. He’d ride into stars hollow on his motorcycle like it was just okay to run in and out of Rory’s life, like that wasn’t going to confuse her as a child.

Alright Jess, are we like the same person? I completely hated the April storyline but now I love it. It shows just how cute and fatherly luke can be.

P.S.-Ofri, I love hearing your opinions, I hope that I’m not offending you!

vintage212, back atcha. i love a little spirited debate, and i’m not offended at all. in fact i’ll take this opportunity to say if i ever offend anyone on this blog it will be unintentional.
luke had the advantage of being nearby, but i think that Lorelai has always been so independent that no one can really take credit for raising Rory besides her. Chris was there when Jess crashed Rory’s car and sprained her wrist or whatever. He’s definitely not perfect, but I think the writers are very selective in how they want to portray Chris at different times. Sometimes he’s represented as being a good guy, sometimes less so. The whole thing with Sherry was unfortunate, but he couldn’t exactly ditch Sherry and Gigi, otherwise he’d look like a real hypocrite. I agree with what Dave and Alicia said in this past podcast though, their relationship as it is right now is boring, and if Luke and Lorelai are supposed to be together then I hate the fact that Chris and Lorelai are gonna get married just to divorce again. That would really tick me off.
i have a bad feeling about the show in general though. i think the writers are dropping the ball, and either this will be the last season and it will be lame, or -even worse- the show will continue to be lame for several seasons and go out really weak.

Ofri I agree with you!! The writers have totally dropped the ball, I was really sad that was possibly going to be the last season but I figured that it’d go out on a high horse, but this past episode just proves that they are no ASP or DP. If they even make Chris and Lor get married only for them to divorce, I’ll be completely disappointed in the writers. If Lor and luke arn’t meant to be together, that is fine, but if they are and they make Chris and Lor get married and then divorce, I’ll be so mad. What happened to the show that I fell in love with?

    P.S.-I miss logan. 🙁
