No episode this week…

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we didn’t get a chance to record a podcast this weekend. Our next podcast will discuss both Gilmore Girls episodes 7.08 and 7.09. We apologize for any inconvenience. Feel free to post comments about both episodes 🙂

I loved this episode, I mean Rory and Logan fighting is never ever good but other than I loved it.
I just hate the April plot line. She really just plucks a nerve with me, I don’t like her in the show at all. And I hate that we are seeing more and more of her.
Can’t wait to hear your new podcast!

I’m in withdrawal! No podcast! *sigh* Life must go on.

I liked this episode. I thought it was a lot better than the other most recent ones. I adore Logan, so having him there helped! In their argument I thought they both had valid points, and even though I love Logan, I loved hearing Rory’s ‘screw you’ because for a while it felt like she was loosing her backbone, but now she definitely has it again. I thought it said a lot about their relationship that they worked it out right away, and I loved that Logan understood about Rory needing to move out.

Chris and Lorelai. They’re just boring. I tried to give Chris a chance, but he just annoyed me tonight, the way he was talking about changing things. He just started talking about it like he thought Lorelai would be OK with everything, or as if he would be able to sweet talk her into giving him his way. He just came off as very arrogant.

I loved Luke and April. They have such a good relationship now, it’s so sweet.

I was so excited to see Luke and Lorelai interact in this episode. I miss that so much, even from when they were just friends. The show is not the same with out the scenes in the diner, of Luke telling Lorelai how bad the food she eats is for her. Hopefully this is just the start of them talking again.

Lorelai and Chris are boring. The things that keep me interested are Lane and Zach, April and Luke, and Rory and Logan. Chris really annoyed me with moving Rory’s things out without even ASKING her, that just drove me over the top. I was so happy that Lorelai stepped up and said to ask her. And why does Gigi need a room so quickly? Isn’t she staying in Paris for a few months? I’m starting to like April more and more though. I love Luke as a dad to her. Especially with the last episode. I liked Luke and Lorelai talking again, and Lorelai caring about April, and not saying something like, “Why didn’t you call Anna?” But where is Anna anyway? I don’t really like her, but did they say she went somewhere?

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts about this episode in the podcast. Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving!

I am pretty sure Anna went to be with/take care of her mom because she had a back injury or is sick or something. That’s the reason April is staying with Luke in the first place. I’m not crazy about April, and I think this episode is a bit better but still weak compared to your average ASP-penned episode. It’s just a different show now, and if I wasn’t already invested after like five solid years of being addicted to it, I probably wouldn’t be watching it. I miss Richard and Emily!! I hope we get to see them this week.

I love Rory and Logan together, and this episode shows that they are by far the most mature and together relationship on this show.

I do love Lorelai and Christopher together. And even if she were to be with Luke there’s still stuff that would have to change, so Christopher’s need to tell her that stuff would change is not out of left field. You can tell that he loves her, especially if he’s willing to move to Stars Hollow.

I’m really loving this season so far.

I haven’t been listening to the podcast for that long, but I was wondering, have you guys ever posted pictures of yourself? I’m not trying to sound like a stalker or anything, but It’d be nice to put faces with voices…

    Hi Dave and Alicia!

    Knit, People, Knit! –

I really liked this episode. It felt like old Gilmore Girls – we saw Emily and Richard (Wolfgirl!), the townies, Logan (*swoon!*), Paris and Doyle (who were absolutely hilarious. Love them.) I really liked that we saw another Stars Hollow event – which brings me to Christopher. Ohhhh Christopher! Why are you so clueless! Why are you making me not like you! Donating the money was a sweet gesture, but it totally backfired. Also, I really hope you like farming as much as you say you do…

The way the town is treating Lorelai and Chris is pretty mean. As Lorelai said, it’s her life and she married Chris, not Luke.

Whiiich brings me to Luke! You FINALLY grew a pair! Anna is such a bitch – “my daughter” – uh, hello, April is Luke’s daughter too!

It’s a shame we had to wait so long this season before we got a good episode, but this was it. Only really one major complaint – why wasn’t there more Logan! The party was fun (“2002 party? That’s not a theme!) and Marty was kinda cute, kinda annoying. “Boyfriend!” is still stupid.

Thank you so much for the podcast! I really enjoy it. 🙂

I know that this sounds dumb, but i think that Rory and Marty should get together. Logan is too arrogant for her and Marty so nice and compatible. Plus, the season can’t end with Marty being together with art girl because seriously, what a horrible couple!

i really like how luke’s plot line is going this season…i mean at the end of last season i was like umm, now what, is he just not in the show?…i like the whole april thing played out, and now (hopefully) he will get partial custody of her…

o yea, just to add something to my comment (above) i think the 2002 themed party was hilarious and i think lucy and olivia make great, (tho kind of crazy), friends for rory, i mean paris is so serious and idk are her and rory really FRIENDS? lol

This episode was okay, but I am glad that Chris is getting the cold shoulder from the townies. Chris doesn’t belong there, and sooner or later I think he will go back to his old ways he will realize he doesn’t belong and bolt. Leaving Lor. lonely, sad and ready for Luke to pick up the pieces. Logan and Rory are perfect for each other, Marty would smother Rory and he would get walked over, Rory has always needed the complicated guys (i.e. Jess, Logan) Look how she walked over Dean. Then vise versa and I could see Marty hurting Rory, thats why Logan is perfect, they play off each others superiority and reflect their knowledge. Its an amazing couple… AND BOBBY IS THE WORST. I hate bobby too……. her skinny skinny pretty body and her long legs, she needs to be a dude.

Also, Jess taught Rory about life, as has Logan. Dean just broke her heart and never really pushed her.

I think their listeners should give David and Alicia the benefit of the doubt. It’s a busy time of the year for everyone, never mind the fact that just living an adult life keeps one busy enough. We should remember they don’t really owe us anything…
There is a new episode of GG tonight, probably the last one for a few weeks.

I think we finally got an episode last week that was close the ASP shows, however, I still feel like they are wrapping things up to nicely at the end of each show. Story arcs were over several shows in the past.

Yet,I’m still addicted to Gilmore Girls. I love this show and this podcast.

Alicia and Dave are probably busy, and haven’t gotten around to posting a message about the staus of the new podcast episode. People should just hang on a few more days, it will eventually come out. Like ofri said, they are volunteering to do this podcast, and we shouldn’t press them for a new podcast episode when we aren’t paying for it.

While I completely understand not having a podcast due to having a busy schedule, it still makes me sad. Hopefully everything is ok with Dave and Alicia and we’ll get back to having our podcasts again soon. As a side note, Happy Holidays everyone!

I just found your podcast on the internet. I’m from Norway and we have Gilmore Girls here to! I love the show, and I like to listen to your podcast. Right now, it’s not Gilmore Girls here in Norway, but next year (2007) it will come back! 🙂 So I havn’t seen anything of season 7 yet.

We just hope you guys are okay. You know you can come out of hiding any time now right?!” *finishes shouting voice*
