does anyone remember in i think it was season two when lorelai told emily she wasnt marrying max and emily said something about not being able to give her the gift that she had for her and she was gunna save it for when lorelai did get married. i thought that maybe she would get it now since she married chris. idk just somthing i thought of and was wondering if anyone else noticed.

Emily’s present to Lorelai was “Wolfgirl”. Haha. I think they should of shown what Emily’s present was. That would of been a good connection. But maybe Emily didn’t want to because it would remind Lorelai of her first wedding to Max, and who wants to think of that when you get married. Who knows.

Hey, I was watching reruns on family ch. and I noticed when Rory had her coming out debut, Libby is the same girl as one of Honor Huntzberger’s brides maids, the one that said ‘shhh Rory is Logans girlfriend” (when she found out that Logan slept with the wedding party. Also, I think that Jess needs to come back for an episode, Jess would def. start a little flair in these downhill episodes.

As far as the present goes, I would think it’s a bit tacky to give someone a gift intended for another wedding altogether. Either way I think it’s probably just another one of those continuity glitches like Rory’s job in Stamford. I have a feeling the Wolfgirl thing was just a joke and that Richard and Emily are going to give them some kind of fabulous gift at the party.

Tonights episode was pretty bad………. The luke and chris fight was stupid, it looked like I changed the channel to the discovery channel and they were showing two bulls ready to fight. and Logan did the right thing, but I really think that Lucy and Oliva have over reacted. Now this starts some stupid fight between Rory and Logan and next thing we know Rory will be sobbing to Marty….. C’mon where is the good stuff, this was just a bad night I hope it gets better….. But I still love the Gilmore Girls…..

Yea… the Luke/Chris thing was really lame. Poor Luke though, I really felt awful for him. Who knew Anna would turn into such a psycho witch. April is a pretty smart, outspoken kid though. Hopefully she’ll straighten her mom out. She is the one who sought Luke out in the first place, after all.

I wish there was more to Luke and Chris’ fight. I know that Chris was drunk so he should of called out to Luke, saying something crazy about showing the baby to Lorelai. And they fought so weird! Like they were old men, barely able to walk! I can’t wait to hear what Dave and Alicia have to say about that. In the begining I was freaking out about Chris and Lorelai getting a new house. Lorelai made such a big deal to Luke about staying in the house she has now. Chris thinks he can get everything he wants because of his money. Being “in” with Stars Hollow, a baby, a house. Lorelai needs some say in the marriage too!

You guys!! Come on. I know you have lives outside of Stars Hollow and you can’t be expected to watch Gilmore Girls everyday, but I really miss you guys. I am dying to hear your feedback on the last two episodes. I’m probably in the minority but I really like the Knit Episode and this episode. I know most people don’t get the fight scene with Luke and Chris, but sometimes that’s what it is like when you are just mad. And old. You get angry, throw some punches, tire yourself out and go home. Just getting out agression. Funny. But more importantly, Come back you guys!!:)

I thought it was both long overdue advice, and also kind of a sad bit of insight into Emily’s life. It made feel kinda bad for her and understand her more.

I thought the fight was the best part of the episode.

I can’t see a reason why the writers are keeping Luke in the show if him and Lorelei arn’t getting back together eventually. But it’s so messed up the Anna is being all bitchy about this April stuff. I want Luke to fight for his rights to see his daughter.
Christopher is a whiny little baby and he needs to go back where he came from. Ugh….
I want more Lane and Zach too. They drop the bombs on us about them having twins and then we don’t see them anymore.

Yea i am realizing that i really hate what the writers (old AND new) are doing with Lorelai’s love life, because it seems like whoever she chooses to be with turns into a big dumb pouty baby and the one she doesn’t choose is all of a sudden a saint. If she were to get back with Luke, two episodes out they would have some other huge crisis. It is really annoying. And it’s also really annoying that Rory and Logan have not spent more than five minutes together (onscreen) this whole season without having some kind of stupid fight or misunderstanding.
vintage212 – i can see your point about Luke, but the truly depressing thing is that his storyline is pretty much the only interesting thing about the show right now. except Lane and Zach, but we never see them.

And whoever said that Dave and Alicia might have been hit by the storm were correct. I was watching my local news, which sort of covers Indiana and they did get a good amount of snow. So hopefully they have power and everything and that they are just putting off doing the podcast until the weekend.

Okay, i love gilmore girls, but is it just me or are the new writer or producers losing the meaning of the show. First of all, whether she ends up with luke or christopher, they screwed it up. they did not really end things with luke, and just ended her up with chris within like 2 episodes. she got married and proposed to in the same episode without rory there, and the fight seen this week between luke and chris, was just weird. It was out of place, and it seems like they put it in there to get some action into the show, but it was the most misplaced fight ever. I am really sad casue i love the show, but i feel they are screwing it up.

To all those comments stating that Luke’s story line is the most interesting, I completely disagree. It doesn’t fit in with the rest of the show, Luke’s custody battle is waaay to serious for Gilmore Girls. Plus his scenes are really boring, I could care less about whether he gets April or not. And to reply to ofri’s comments’ about if Luke and Lorelai were to get back together they would just get into a big fight again and this to you is annoying. Hello, it’s a television show, quite frankly everyone happy on a show would not be very interesting. I also agree with this whole Chris and Lorelai thing happened way to fast, the writers really needed to give us a breather. But I still have lots of faith that things will get better.

Thanks wawaGG, and no there is not new episode this tuesday, not for 2 weeks which sucks but ohhh well….. It just does not make sense that we have seen Lor. and Chris at home but Paul Anka is no where to be seen. Something else, Lor. jumped into this marriage too, but she did it because she was still in the ‘i want to be married’ mood. you will see iin the next few episodes that she will go back to her old ways and Chriss will be out and Luke will be in. Lukes story line is so important, because April is what broke Lor. and Luke up, now we see what happens to April, and hopefully Lukie and Lor. I think that this week’s episode “Merry Fisticuffs” was the best episode of this season. A lot happened. The writers introduced problems in Chris’ and Lorelai’s relationship that will hopefully break them up! 🙂 Also I think that Luke’s storyline is great. Trying to get custody of April is not too serious for the Gilmore Girls. Cuz of it is then Richard getting ill in the first season, Luke’s uncle dying, Christopher’s father dying and countless other events that have happened could also be proclaimed “too serious or gloomy” for Gilmore Girls. I love Gilmore Girls for it’s humor, witt, AND dynamic relationships and will stick by this show no matter where it ends up!

I didn’t mean to, but I don’t have a DVR, so I watched the Aerie Girls thing last week in hopes that a preview for a new episode would follow.
They kept saying different couples’ names over and over again. It was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever watched in my life. It’s like they know their little Aerie Girls spots are stupid and are making fun of themselves. I don’t see how this all ties into an Aerie line of undergarments. Because of these Aerie Girl commercials, I have promised myself to never buy anything from Aerie.
