I listened to the TV Guide podcast a few weeks ago, and they speculated that next season will be the last season. Appearently the show creaters have a new project in the works, and that they will stick with GG for another season to end it, then focus their attention on their new thing.
The podcast was TV Guide Talk: Dec 2, 2005 and I got it from iTunes. Also, their latest one says “Exclusive news about… Gilmore Girls” and the new merger, but I havn’t listened to that one yet.

Oh, sorry, I have another thing. You guys were talking about having listeners all around the world, and I was thinking that you guys should make a frappr map for the podcast. I loved the podcast, as always and defintely stayed tuned for the spoilers. But I did want to say that I thought you were kind of harsh on Luke. The poor guy. He just found out that he has a child. He should be more around April and being a father and Lorelei should understand that because she wouldn’t want April to miss out on the things that Rory missed out on with her father. Not to mention the fact that Luke waited and waited and sat by while Lorelei went through all these boyfriends and just waited until the day she realized that Luke is the one for her, now she has to do a little waiting, it sucks but he deserves that, at least.
